Buy three plant pots (any size you wish) to begin.

Undercoat each plant pot with either white or grey water based paint, I used white acrylic paint.

Now choose the fab colours you want to paint your plant pots with!

To create straight lines or shapes such as triangles, use masking tape so the lines are crisp and don't run. Wait till the paint is dry before removing the masking tape.

You can print more complex shapes by either using an existing stencil or creating your own by cutting it out of paper. OR if you're feeling confident paint freehand!

Another simple but striking design for the plant pots is contrasting colours on the top and bottom of the plant pot. You can do this using masking tape.

Make a triangle template using masking tape.

Fill in the triangle template with paint which can be the colour of your choice.
